I Love Errol Louis
My wife and I love Errol! We woke up to his morning radio show for at least a year until he left for his new gig as host of Inside City Hall on NY1.
He had/has great guests that you don't usually see on the political gabfests.
Example: A round table on "social media"in light of the Weiner scandal and Bloomberg's plan for free Wi-Fi in city parks tonight could have been a real horror show with the usual suspects tut-tutting and wringing their garments. Errol had three extremely connected women (2 of color) and one white dude who all gave full-throated support for the expansion of free wi-fi throughout the city and the importance for poor and unemployed NYers. Now he's talking to the creators of a documentary about Middle Eastern comediennes.
Will try to get a link when available.
Unfortunately, Errol has inherited The NY1 Wise Guys (Ed Koch, Al D'amato & Carl McCall) and the onerous Political Rundown with embarrassments Curtis Sliwa and Gerson Barrero.
Fortunately, each segment runs on;y once a week.
Check out Errol if you can at 7 & 10 on NY1.
